What Does Cat Lice Look Like

What does cat lice look like. If you notice excessive itching grooming or poor hair coat it could be lice. They are not as common as fleas. When lice infest a cat they can typically be found on the neck tail or head. There is a possibility that you will see the lice moving through the fur.
Other symptoms of lice in cats are as follows. Excessive biting or scratching. Left unchecked they can grow to be an infestation on the cats body. At first lice may look like dandruff.
To diagnose cat lice simply observe your feline friend. But the gnawing of pieces of skin in a cat causes it to be very itchy. This is possible only in rare cases when a parasite accidentally fell on a wound or a scratch. The main identifying factor of lice on a cat is the triangular shape of its head.
Vlasoed is not capable like a head louse to drink the blood of a cat. They are most often seen in situations where sanitary practices are poor. Lice are parasites that live on the skin. But after looking at the speck closely youll see that its tan in color with dark spots and is moving.
You can easily spot lice on cats by parting the fur and looking for nits or eggs and mature lice on the skin.
